Anyone else: New pads squeal more than the old ones

I replaced pads and rotors and now the brakes squeal at low speed even though stopping performance is good. Hardware was cleaned and lubricated. Is some noise normal during bedding or should I pull everything apart again? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Move a coil or plug on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “new pads squeal more than the old,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step.
