Anyone else: Silverado light-throttle shudder: engine or transmission?

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2, about 118,000 miles. At steady speed with light throttle I get a vibration that feels almost like driving over fine rumble strips. It disappears if I accelerate. What's the cleanest way to separate wheel/tire issues, cylinder-deactivation behavior and converter/transmission shudder? I'm in New Jersey. Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Two 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500s can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “silverado light-throttle shudder: engine or transmission,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Did the worksheet show tax yet? If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Ask what changed right before it started. Capture voltage while the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Save the big job until that test fails. When does it actually happen? That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 does it — then decide on parts. Save the big job until that test fails. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

I went back under the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

If it were in my driveway, if a shop can't duplicate it on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Asking because it changes the advice: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. This is from a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in New Jersey with 118,000 miles. Was this after sitting overnight? Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

If it were in my driveway, swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and see if the fault moves. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'd rather be boring and correct. I already checked the easy fluid levels.
