Cleaning the hybrid battery cooling fan — worth doing preventively?

CruiseGarage16Community StarterMay 13, 20262025 Honda Civic Sport Touring HybridPortland
2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid, about 78,000 miles. Car is used in a dusty environment and has pets in it regularly. I've read about battery cooling fans getting dirty. Is inspecting/cleaning it a reasonable preventive job or better left alone without symptoms?

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Ask for out-the-door on the 2025 Honda Civic with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. If they balk, that's your answer. Monthly payment math is how wallets disappear. I'd rather be boring and correct. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2025 Honda Civic price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2025 Honda Civic in Portland with 78,000 miles. That's the whole play. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
