CPO luxury SUV or brand-new mainstream SUV?

Budget works for either a lightly used luxury SUV or a new mainstream model with a full warranty. I'm more worried about three-to-five-year ownership cost and service downtime than the purchase price. How would you compare them? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Land Rover Defender price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

If I were shopping this, if one piece looks too good on the 2024 Land Rover Defender, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'll update if anything new shows up.
