Inside shoulder wearing much faster than rest of tire

MileageTuner88Community StarterDec 4, 20252022 Cadillac Escalade SportCharlotte
2022 Cadillac Escalade Sport, about 78,000 miles. Front tires look fine from the outside but the inner shoulders are nearly done. Car is lowered a little. I'd rather fix the alignment than just keep buying tires—what measurements should I ask the shop for besides toe? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2022 Cadillac Escalade owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2022 Cadillac Escalade. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Cadillac Escalade, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2022 Cadillac Escalade in Charlotte with 78,000 miles. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Cadillac Escalade in Charlotte, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “inside shoulder wearing much faster than rest,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Cadillac Escalade before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I'd push back a little: If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Cadillac Escalade, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2022 Cadillac Escalade in Charlotte with 78,000 miles. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
