Need advice: CPO luxury SUV or brand-new mainstream SUV?

Budget works for either a lightly used luxury SUV or a new mainstream model with a full warranty. I'm more worried about three-to-five-year ownership cost and service downtime than the purchase price. How would you compare them?

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. On “cpo luxury suv or brand-new mainstream suv,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette in Connecticut. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.
