Question: New model reveal: what matters beyond the headline specs?

EVGeek62Community StarterJul 11, 20262021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2Ohio
2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2, about 22,000 miles. A new model just dropped and the headline numbers look good, but I'm more interested in curb weight, wheel/tire sizes, real rear-seat room, charging/fueling, repairability and what features are locked behind packages. I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Ohio with 22,000 miles. Was this after sitting overnight? Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Not driving it hard until I know more.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 so service can see what you saw. Then you'll know the next fork. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 charge sessions. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Ohio with 22,000 miles. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “new model reveal: what matters beyond the,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

OP update: scanned the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 again and still only have the one pending code, no new lights. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.
