Question: Who is actually discounting below MSRP in this region?

2022 Volvo XC90 Recharge, about 96,000 miles. Inventory looks better but dealer quotes still vary a lot. I'm not looking to name-and-shame anyone—just trying to get a sense of whether people are seeing real discounts locally before I drive two hours. Any data points from owners would help.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2022 Volvo XC90 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'd rather be boring and correct. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Volvo XC90 in California, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “who is actually discounting below msrp in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Asking because it changes the advice: If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Volvo XC90, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Was this after sitting overnight? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Volvo XC90 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I parked the 2022 Volvo XC90 and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
