Recall shows for my model but not my VIN

HybridMechanicishCommunity StarterAug 27, 20262024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300Charlotte
2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300, about 62,000 miles. I saw a recall announcement that includes my model year, but my VIN currently shows no open recall. Is that usually because only a subset is affected, or can VIN databases lag behind an announcement? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “recall shows for my model but not,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Any freeze-frame data saved? Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. That's my plan before I call anyone.

If I were shopping this, i would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class in Charlotte with 62,000 miles. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.
