Runs hotter sitting in traffic than moving

2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, about 96,000 miles. Coolant temp climbs while idling with the A/C on, then drops back down once I'm moving. Coolant is full and I don't see a leak. Fans do run, but I'm not sure they're moving enough air. What would you test next? I'm in Philadelphia. If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread. Ambient temp was about 92°F when I noticed it.

If it were in my driveway, loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Jeep Wrangler catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. The universe charges extra for guessing. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Yes, with one caveat: If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Jeep Wrangler, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “runs hotter sitting in traffic than moving,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Ask what changed right before it started. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Jeep Wrangler, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
