1990 Ford F-150 — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update — anyone dealt with this recently?

1990 Ford F-150 XLT, about 238,000 miles. After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 1990 Ford F-150 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'd rather be boring and correct. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd push back a little: If it still isn't clear on the 1990 Ford F-150, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
