2005 Ford F-250 — dPF regenerations seem much more frequent — Nashville owner

2005 Ford F-250 6.0 Power Stroke, about 146,500 miles. The truck has been doing more short trips and active regeneration seems to happen more often. No codes. What scan data helps confirm soot load and regen frequency before assuming failure? I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

If it were mine, I would verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2005 Ford F-250 before committing to a big repair.

One thing that mattered for me: in Nashville, I care more about the thing I will notice every day than the spec-sheet extra.
