2007 Porsche Cayman S, about 89,000 miles. I found a running car with cosmetic damage and deferred maintenance at a low price. Before treating it as a flip, how do you budget hidden repairs, title/registration, taxes, transport and selling time? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2007 Porsche Cayman and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. A written buyer’s order on the 2007 Porsche Cayman is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “cheap project has enough margin to fix,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. That's my plan before I call anyone.
