2007 Porsche Cayman — intermittent hesitation pulling away from a stop — buyer question from San Diego

2007 Porsche Cayman S, about 212,000 miles. Every few days the car hesitates for a split second leaving a stop, then drives normally. No permanent warning light. I want to know what data to capture the next time it happens.

Yes, with one caveat: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2007 Porsche Cayman, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. That's the sequence I'd use. I'd rather be boring and correct. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Two 2007 Porsche Caymans can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. That's the whole play. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.
