2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 — windshield replacement created a highway whistle

2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT, about 102,000 miles. A windshield was replaced and now there is a whistle around highway speed that did not exist before. Glass looks seated. Any simple way to locate the air leak before taking it back? I am in Salt Lake City.

Ask what changed right before it started. Two 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500s can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Save the big job until that test fails. This is from a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Salt Lake City with 102,000 miles. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

Log the conditions before you spend. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 does it — then decide on parts. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “windshield replacement created a highway whistle,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.
