2013 Infiniti G37 — driver seat clicks during left-right transitions — trying to narrow this down

I can feel a small click through the seat base in corners. Mounting bolts appear tight and power functions work. How do you isolate rail play versus the frame or motor mechanism?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2013 Infiniti G37 in Pennsylvania, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2013 Infiniti G37 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. When does it actually happen? I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Agree — and I'd add this: A second data point from another 2013 Infiniti G37 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2013 Infiniti G37, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
