2013 Nissan 370Z — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update — Long Island owner

This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. 2013 Nissan 370Z Touring, about 122,000 miles. After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2013 Nissan 370Z in Long Island, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “infotainment became glitchy after an ota update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2013 Nissan 370Z owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2013 Nissan 370Z, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd push back a little: Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2013 Nissan 370Z before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Stop there until you know. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
