2015 BMW 335i — project-car budget is disappearing into little parts

2015 BMW 335i, about 152,000 miles. The shell and drivetrain were the exciting purchases; now brackets, hoses, bushings, fittings and hardware are eating the budget. How do you sequence a build so the car gets running before cosmetic scope takes over? Mostly looking for the right next step.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2015 BMW 335i, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2015 BMW 335i in Texas with 152,000 miles. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2015 BMW 335i owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
