2016 Audi A4 — engine fits but driveline angle is not ideal

BoostMechanicish509Community StarterAug 16, 20262016 Audi A4 PremiumWestchester
2016 Audi A4 Premium, about 134,500 miles. Mock-up clears the steering and firewall, but getting the transmission output lined up perfectly would require moving the engine. How much should packaging be compromised to improve driveline geometry?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2016 Audi A4 in Westchester, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “engine fits but driveline angle is not,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. That's my plan before I call anyone.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2016 Audi A4 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Stop there until you know. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2016 Audi A4, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
