2016 Subaru WRX — buzzing noise only at one engine RPM

2016 Subaru WRX STI, about 138,000 miles. There is a light buzz from the dash at one narrow RPM range. It disappears above and below that speed. Any good method for locating trim resonance without randomly adding foam everywhere? I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2016 Subaru WRX before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Did the worksheet show tax yet? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2016 Subaru WRX owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? This is the version I'd tell a friend.
