2016 Subaru WRX — costs that mattered more than fuel economy

2016 Subaru WRX STI, about 109,500 miles. After owning the car for a while, tires, insurance and service pricing mattered more than the MPG difference I obsessed over before buying.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2016 Subaru WRX in NYC, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “costs that mattered more than fuel economy,” that was the fork that mattered for me. When does it actually happen? I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2016 Subaru WRX, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Was this after sitting overnight? I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
