2016 Subaru WRX — intercooler before adding more boost?

RotorCommuter84Community StarterJul 8, 20262016 Subaru WRX STIPennsylvania
After repeated pulls the car softens as intake temperatures rise. Would you prioritize cooling before increasing boost, even if the current setup is otherwise mild? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Capture voltage while the 2016 Subaru WRX is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “intercooler before adding more boost,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2016 Subaru WRX catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Save the big job until that test fails. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.
