2016 Subaru WRX — when does GAP actually make sense?

CamberCamper245Community StarterOct 23, 20252016 Subaru WRX STIQueens
2016 Subaru WRX STI, about 131,500 miles. I am financing most of the purchase and depreciation could be steep early on. How do you decide whether GAP is worthwhile versus a larger down payment or buying coverage elsewhere? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

If I were shopping this, if one piece looks too good on the 2016 Subaru WRX, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
