2017 Audi Q7 — cheap project has enough margin to fix and resell?

2017 Audi Q7 3.0T, about 118,500 miles. I found a running car with cosmetic damage and deferred maintenance at a low price. Before treating it as a flip, how do you budget hidden repairs, title/registration, taxes, transport and selling time? I would rather test this logically than replace parts. What would you check next?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2017 Audi Q7 in Las Vegas, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “cheap project has enough margin to fix,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Just my two cents from doing this recently. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2017 Audi Q7, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. A second data point from another 2017 Audi Q7 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. That's the whole play. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2017 Audi Q7 before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Stop there until you know. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
