2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee — rebuilt-title price looks tempting

WrenchCollectorCommunity StarterFeb 24, 20262017 Jeep Grand Cherokee LimitedCentral Jersey
A rebuilt-title car is much cheaper than clean-title examples and appears professionally repaired. What should I think about beyond repair quality: insurance, financing, future resale and hidden damage? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. In Central Jersey, insurance quotes flipped a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Central Jersey. Do that first. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Call your insurer in Central Jersey before you fall in love with the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “rebuilt-title price looks tempting,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Central Jersey. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

If I were shopping this, in Central Jersey, insurance quotes flipped a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. No need to make it theatrical. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.
