2017 Nissan Altima — steering wheel shakes only under highway braking

2017 Nissan Altima 2.5 SV, about 107,500 miles. Cruising is smooth, but braking from highway speed makes the steering wheel shake. Pads still have material. Would you start with rotor runout/thickness variation, hub condition or suspension bushings?

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2017 Nissan Altima does it — then decide on parts. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2017 Nissan Altima is losing coolant with no puddle. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
