2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S — question: Who is actually discounting below MSRP in this region?

2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S, about 151,000 miles. Inventory looks better but dealer quotes still vary a lot. I'm not looking to name-and-shame anyone—just trying to get a sense of whether people are seeing real discounts locally before I drive two hours. Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2017 Porsche 911, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Stop there until you know. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2017 Porsche 911 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.
