2018 Chevrolet Tahoe — service history disappears for three years

ProjectTraveler753Community StarterJul 22, 20262018 Chevrolet Tahoe LTBoston
2018 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, about 109,000 miles. The car has dealer records early in life, then a long blank period, then records again. Seller says maintenance was done independently. Is the gap itself a concern or mostly a reason to inspect condition and ask for receipts? I am in Boston. I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “service history disappears for three years,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe in Boston with 109,000 miles. Stop there until you know. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

OP here. Still looking, but I'm waiting on inspection notes before I send money on the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe (109,000 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If one piece looks too good on the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Not wiring anything in the meantime.
