2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 S, about 101,500 miles. My trade is worth more than the payoff. I am deciding whether to use the equity in the next purchase or keep the transactions separate. What are the practical pros and cons?

Private-party deals fail on paperwork, not vibes. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 is enough reason to walk. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 in Los Angeles with 101,500 miles. Stop there until you know. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I'd push back a little: Bill of sale, VIN, odometer, and names matching the title — I'd want all four on the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63. Then you'll know the next fork. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

I'd treat this like cash with a paper trail. If the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 still shows a lien, coordinate payoff with the lender before any cash changes hands. I'd do that before spending real money. Independent PPI on the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 is cheap insurance versus a seller who “already had a friend look at it.” I'd do that before spending real money. Don't get cute with the meetup or the payment. Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63, not a parking lot at night. That's where I'd start. Do that first. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

Quick update: a second 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 quote made the first offer look ordinary. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.
