2018 Subaru Forester — dealer cannot reproduce an intermittent warning

2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i, about 119,500 miles. I have brought the car in twice for the same intermittent warning and both visits ended with could-not-reproduce. I have video and timestamps. What is the best way to build a useful paper trail?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2018 Subaru Forester in Washington DC, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “dealer cannot reproduce an intermittent warning,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2018 Subaru Forester before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. When does it actually happen? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
