2018 Volvo S90 — lower mileage or better documentation?

2018 Volvo S90 T6, about 135,000 miles. I am comparing two older enthusiast cars. One has lower mileage but thin records; the other has more miles and years of invoices. If condition is similar, how much value do you put on documentation?

Following up on lower mileage or better documentation: still happening, but I have better notes now. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd push back a little: If it still isn't clear on the 2018 Volvo S90, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2018 Volvo S90 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2018 Volvo S90 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2018 Volvo S90 in Las Vegas with 135,000 miles. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
