2019 Audi S4 — dealer cannot reproduce an intermittent warning

NewCarGeek412Community StarterApr 6, 20262019 Audi S4 Premium PlusDenver
This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. 2019 Audi S4 Premium Plus, about 104,500 miles. I have brought the car in twice for the same intermittent warning and both visits ended with could-not-reproduce. I have video and timestamps. What is the best way to build a useful paper trail?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2019 Audi S4, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2019 Audi S4 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Any freeze-frame data saved? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2019 Audi S4 before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I parked the 2019 Audi S4 and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2019 Audi S4 in Denver, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “dealer cannot reproduce an intermittent warning,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2019 Audi S4 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. That's the sequence I'd use. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.
