2019 Audi S4 — online auction photos barely show the underside — trying to narrow this down

TowDriverCommunity StarterSep 29, 20252019 Audi S4 Premium PlusBaltimore
2019 Audi S4 Premium Plus, about 92,000 miles. Auction listing has lots of cosmetic photos and records, but not much underneath. For an older enthusiast car, what questions or photos would you request before bidding remotely? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. In Baltimore, insurance quotes flipped a 2019 Audi S4 comparison for me more than the sale price did. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2019 Audi S4 in Baltimore with 92,000 miles. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Call your insurer in Baltimore before you fall in love with the 2019 Audi S4. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2019 Audi S4 in Baltimore with 92,000 miles. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Sleeping on the number either way.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Two 2019 Audi S4 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Ask for out-the-door on the 2019 Audi S4 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “online auction photos barely show the underside,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I screenshotted the quote for later.

I would not stare at the monthly. Two 2019 Audi S4 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Quick add on that: Call your insurer in Baltimore before you fall in love with the 2019 Audi S4. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. Two 2019 Audi S4 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2019 Audi S4 (92,000 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
