2019 Mazda Mazda3 — 50,000-mile ownership report: what actually broke?

I just crossed 50k miles and want to log maintenance, unscheduled repairs, tire life, fuel economy, dealer visits, annoyances and whether I would buy the same car again.

I asked about 50,000-mile ownership report: what actually broke again and they still won't put GAP/add-ons on their own lines. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2019 Mazda Mazda3 numbers without them. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “50,000-mile ownership report: what actually broke,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

Fair point. Counterpoint: If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2019 Mazda Mazda3 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. Two 2019 Mazda Mazda3 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2019 Mazda Mazda3 in Florida. No need to make it theatrical. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Quick add on that: GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2019 Mazda Mazda3 numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. Two 2019 Mazda Mazda3 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2019 Mazda Mazda3 in Florida. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2019 Mazda Mazda3 numbers without them. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

This is from a 2019 Mazda Mazda3 in Florida. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

On “50,000-mile ownership report: what actually broke,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
