2019 Porsche Macan — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update

2019 Porsche Macan S, about 77,000 miles. After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service? If I figure it out I will update the thread.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2019 Porsche Macan before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. On the 2019 Porsche Macan in Washington DC, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2019 Porsche Macan owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2019 Porsche Macan, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Do that first. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
