2019 Ram 2500 — short-trip driving and oil-change intervals

The car gets lots of cold starts, idling and short trips with few long highway runs. The factory interval feels long for that use. How would you set an interval around duty cycle rather than just the odometer?

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2019 Ram 2500 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
