2019 Volkswagen Atlas — blower works on some speeds but not others

OldSchoolNerdCommunity StarterSep 28, 20252019 Volkswagen Atlas SELLas Vegas
2019 Volkswagen Atlas SEL, about 47,000 miles. Cabin fan works normally on certain settings and then cuts out or changes speed unpredictably on others. Before replacing the blower motor, what should be checked in the resistor/controller circuit?

If it were in my driveway, a pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas is losing coolant with no puddle. That's the branch I'd chase this week. This is from a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas in Las Vegas with 47,000 miles. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Same neighborhood, different next step: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “blower works on some speeds but not,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas in Las Vegas with 47,000 miles. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'll poke at it this weekend.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas and see if the fault moves. Save the big job until that test fails. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Not driving it hard until I know more.
