2019 Volkswagen Atlas — car died once at a light and restarted immediately

2019 Volkswagen Atlas SEL, about 112,500 miles. The engine shut off at a stop once, restarted right away, and has been normal since. No warning stayed on. What data or checks would you prioritize before trusting it on a long trip?

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas in San Diego, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “car died once at a light and,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. That's my plan before I call anyone.
