After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service?

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. This is from a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas in Salt Lake City. Do that first. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
