2019 Volkswagen Atlas — windshield replacement created a highway whistle

2019 Volkswagen Atlas SEL, about 48,500 miles. A windshield was replaced and now there is a whistle around highway speed that did not exist before. Glass looks seated. Any simple way to locate the air leak before taking it back?

If it were in my driveway, write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas does it — then decide on parts. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. This is from a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas in California with 48,500 miles. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Yes, with one caveat: Loaded-suspension checks on the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.
