2020 Acura RDX — footwell gets wet only after heavy rain

2020 Acura RDX SH-AWD, about 79,500 miles. The car stays dry in normal rain but after a long storm one front footwell gets damp. Door seal looks okay. What drain/seam tests would you do before tearing the interior apart?

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2020 Acura RDX before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Any freeze-frame data saved? Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2020 Acura RDX owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2020 Acura RDX in Denver with 79,500 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
