2020 GMC Yukon — footwell gets wet only after heavy rain

2020 GMC Yukon Denali, about 60,000 miles. The car stays dry in normal rain but after a long storm one front footwell gets damp. Door seal looks okay. What drain/seam tests would you do before tearing the interior apart?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2020 GMC Yukon in Miami, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2020 GMC Yukon before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2020 GMC Yukon in Miami with 60,000 miles. When does it actually happen? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
