2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class — battery dies after the car sits for a weekend — Westchester owner question

2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E450, about 98,000 miles. Battery passes a quick test and charging voltage looks normal, but after two or three days parked the car sometimes will not crank.

One thing that mattered for me: capture when the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class does it — temp, speed, and whether it is in gear — before replacing parts.

I would start here: I would want a real battery/charging test, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module.

I checked the easy stuff first on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class and found one clue worth chasing before I book a shop.

Before you spend money, if it is cylinder-specific on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, move a coil or plug and see whether the code follows.

One thing that mattered for me: a loaded-suspension check shows play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses.

If it were mine, swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class and see if the fault follows.
