2021 Audi A6 Prestige — question: Rental-platform car came back with damage that wasn't obvious at pickup

Small damage was noticed after the handoff photos were reviewed. For hosts, what inspection/photo workflow actually makes claims easier without turning every pickup into a 30-minute process? Any data points from owners would help.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2021 Audi A6 in Philadelphia, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “question: rental-platform car came back with damage,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Following up on question: rental-platform car came back with damage: still happening, but I have better notes now. That's my plan before I call anyone.

If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Audi A6 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2021 Audi A6 in Philadelphia. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Audi A6, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Monthly payment math is how wallets disappear. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
