2021 Audi A6 Prestige — will this modification complicate a warranty claim?

HybridDetailer9Community StarterMar 11, 20262021 Audi A6 PrestigeDMV / Maryland
I'm considering a mild modification that shouldn't directly affect the part I'm worried about, but I don't want to create a warranty headache. How do you decide which mods are worth waiting on until the warranty is over? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2021 Audi A6 in DMV / Maryland, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “will this modification complicate a warranty claim,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Audi A6, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Any freeze-frame data saved? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2021 Audi A6 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Was this after sitting overnight? I'll update if anything new shows up.

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2021 Audi A6 first. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2021 Audi A6. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Audi A6, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
