2021 Audi A6 — rolling negative equity into another car

DieselScout63Community StarterJul 2, 20262021 Audi A6 PrestigeNationwide
2021 Audi A6 Prestige, about 34,000 miles. Current car is worth less than the payoff and I need something different. Dealer says they can roll the difference into the new loan. I am trying to understand how ugly the math gets before doing that. I am in Nationwide.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Audi A6 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. That's the sequence I'd use. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2021 Audi A6 in Nationwide, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “rolling negative equity into another car,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2021 Audi A6 in Nationwide with 34,000 miles. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Following up on rolling negative equity into another car: still happening, but I have better notes now. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
