2021 BMW X5 — new tires are much louder than the old set

2021 BMW X5 xDrive40i, about 86,500 miles. Same size and pressure, but the new tires create noticeably more highway hum. Is this usually tread pattern/compound, or should I verify balance and alignment before blaming the tire model? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Capture voltage while the 2021 BMW X5 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Save the big job until that test fails. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2021 BMW X5, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2021 BMW X5 is losing coolant with no puddle. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
