2022 BMW X3 — conservative tune feels great — what should I log?

I do not want to judge a tune only by how fast the car feels. Which parameters are worth logging periodically if the goal is catching fuel, knock, boost or temperature problems early? If I figure it out I will update the thread. Mileage is about 24,000.

Yes, with one caveat: A second data point from another 2022 BMW X3 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 BMW X3 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
