2022 BMW X3 M40i — recall shows for my model but not my VIN

PistonBuilder78Community StarterJul 10, 20262022 BMW X3 M40iSalt Lake City
2022 BMW X3 M40i, about 4,800 miles. I saw a recall announcement that includes my model year, but my VIN currently shows no open recall. Is that usually because only a subset is affected, or can VIN databases lag behind an announcement? I'm in Salt Lake City. Appreciate any ideas on what to check first. What am I missing?

I'd pick the setup I'll actually live with in slush. If Salt Lake City only sees a few real storms, a good all-weather on the 2022 BMW X3 can be the saner daily. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2022 BMW X3 in Salt Lake City with 4,800 miles. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Salt and cold mornings punish cheap shortcuts. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2022 BMW X3. I'd do that before spending real money. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
