After a year, the things I care about aren't horsepower or 0–60 anymore. Seat comfort, camera behavior, storage, rattles, HVAC logic and service experience matter way more. Curious what surprised other owners. Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2022 Genesis GV70 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Agree — and I'd add this: On the 2022 Genesis GV70 in Salt Lake City, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “question: one-year ownership: things reviews never mentioned,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Genesis GV70 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. The universe charges extra for guessing. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
